The Village of Tuscan Lakes is proud to present Debora A. Smith, a new vendor at our Artisan and Home Décor Market. Debora is an avid wade fisherman, which has led her to discover the beauty of the bay fish and wildlife. She uses a traditional Japanese art technique called direct gyotaku (fish imprinting) which involves applying the paint directly on the body of the fish and then pressing muslin cloth to receive the image. She feels the fish imprints are a way of sharing the beauty and splendor of the bay. Each of her items is as unique as the fish themselves, so no two items are alike. Her items will be a great addition to anyone’s home. Please come by and see her art at the Second Annual Artisan and Home Décor Market on September 29, 2018, 9:00 – 4:00 at The Village of Tuscan Lakes, The Club, 1610 Tuscan Village Drive, League City, Texas 77573. FREE to public, FREE parking, FREE golf cart valet to front door. We will have four food trucks on site with a large food court for your shopping convenience. No need to cook as you can also take a meal home.
