Trinity Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 66 degrees. Speckled trout are present over scattered shell and mud on shrimp or mullet. Redfish are good on shrimp along the shoreline. Black drum are good on crab or shrimp in the deeper water.

East Galveston Bay: GOOD. 66 degrees. Except this week to be a great week for fishing. Black drum are good near San Luis Pass on shrimp or crab. Speckled trout have been around the marsh drains, chasing the mullet, and are good on shrimp. Redfish are in the back lakes and over mud shell bottoms and are good on shrimp.

West Galveston Bay: GOOD. 66 degrees. Black drum are caught using shrimp or crab around structure or vegetation. Speckled Trout and Redfish are good in the flats over shell on live shrimp. When wade fishing, throw topwaters where the mullet are. San Luis Pass is still a good spot. Gear up for a good week of fishing.

Texas City: GOOD. 67 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish are good working the drop-offs with soft plastics or using shrimp around the dike. Black drum are good on shrimp around the dike and around vegetation.

Freeport: GOOD. 67 degrees. Redfish are along the back lakes and marshes and best shrimp under a popping cork. Speckled trout are good near the ICW on live bait or close to the rocks. Black drum are excellent on dead shrimp around vegetation. Sheepshead are good on live shrimp around the reefs or jetties.

East Matagorda Bay: GOOD. 68 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish can be found around the ICW on topwaters or shrimp under a cork. Catch and release are encouraged for the time being. The black drum are good on bass assassins and will be structure.

West Matagorda Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 68 degrees. Redfish and Black drum are found over rocks on live shrimp under a popping cork. Speckled trout will be chasing mullet and are best on live shrimp. Catch and release is encouraged.

Port O’Connor: GOOD. 67 degrees. Speckled trout and Redfish are good and have been around the flats, and jetties wade the reefs for the trout- use live shrimp and look for the mullet. They will be there chasing them. Flounder are good around the rocks on shrimp.

Rockport: GOOD. 67 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish are on shrimp and will be in the deep cuts, drop-offs, and near the flats and reefs. Catch and release encouraged for speckled trout. Black drum are good on shrimp or crab and can be found in the channels or around structure.
