Texas City ISD were among the school districts that celebrated Paraprofessional Day on Thursday. The day honors educators such as teacher’s aides and instructional assistants. Paraprofessionals often provide teachers with administrative support, work with students outside of the classroom, and provide one-on-one support for students who have disabilities or special educational needs.
