At the regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, August 16, 2021, the SFISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a bond election for November 2, 2021 in the amount of $110,000,000. The bond program is based on the recommendation of the Bond Steering Committee. The 41 member planning committee was composed of community members, teachers, and administrators, who examined all existing facilities and district needs regarding educational opportunities for our students.
