Wednesday’s Texas City Commission Meeting to be held in special location

TEXAS CITY, TX – The City of Texas City’s next regular City Commission meeting will be held in a special location
to allow for a promotion ceremony honoring numerous members of the Texas City Police Department and Texas
City Fire Department.
The Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 20 will be held at the Charles T. Doyle Convention
Center, instead of the Kenneth T. Nunn Council Room at City Hall. It will begin at its regularly scheduled time of 5
p.m.
During the meeting, the Texas City Police Department will swear-in the following officers:

  • Sgt. Mickey House – promoting to the rank of Lieutenant
  • Sgt. Bradley Macik — promoting to the rank of Lieutenant
  • Officer Brandon Shives – promoting to the rank of Sergeant
  • Officer Jeffrey Winstead – promoting to the rank of Sergeant
  • Cadet Zachary Bright – Probationary Police Officer
  • Cadet Albert Garza – Probationary Police Officer
  • Cadet Deandra Moore – Probationary Police Officer
  • The Texas City Fire Department will promote:
  • Julio Campana – promoting to the rank of Captain
  • Andrew Blue – promoting to the rank of Captain
  • Jonathan Lee – promoting to the rank of Captain
  • Jason Brown – promoting to the rank of Captain
  • Charles Barkman – promoting to the rank of Captain
  • Samuel Bowler – promoting to the rank of Engineer
  • Stephen Stanfel – promoting to the rank of Engineer
  • Ian Chase – promoting to the rank of Engineer
  • Christopher Martinez – promoting to the rank of Engineer
  • Jonathan Zelaya – promoting to the rank of Engineer
  • John Tuder – promoting to the rank of Engineer
