Resonate Church and Harbor Church co-hosted Night to Shine at the College of the Mainland, welcoming more than 300 VIPs, family members, and volunteers for an evening centered on joy, honor, and heartfelt celebration. While the room was full, the focus remained personal — taking time to recognize and celebrate each individual guest.

Now in its fourth year as a sponsored host, Resonate Church—together with its community partners and friends—has seen the event steadily grow. This gathering continues to be the only Night to Shine celebration south of the Beltway, welcoming families from across the region and creating a thoughtful, welcoming space designed especially for them.
The evening included a red-carpet entrance, professional photography, dinner, dancing, and a message of encouragement. The highlight of the night was the crowning ceremony, when every honored guest—each referred to as a “VIP”—was crowned prom king or prom queen. At Night to Shine, every guest is royalty.
Night to Shine is an initiative of the Tim Tebow Foundation and is held annually at churches around the world. Designed for individuals with special needs ages 14 and older, the event provides a prom-night experience where every guest is valued and celebrated.
Resonate Church remains committed to serving families in the special needs community and to continuing this celebration in the years ahead,” said Pastor Jervie Windom. “Those who would like to volunteer, sponsor, or partner for next year’s Night to Shine are warmly invited to contact Resonate Church to learn more about how to get involved.”
