Galveston County Master Gardener Kevin Lancon will highlight best practices for successfully growing bulb onions and garlic. Additional information on health and wellness benefits of each will be presented as well as a few recipes and ways to utilize both onions and garlic in cooking and possibly a tasting item or two. Kevin will share his experience of growing onions and garlic with several tips and tricks to maximize results including specific variety selections that perform well in Galveston County.
