Santa Fe Junior High students Reyli Tovar (eighth grade) and Taron Lambert (sixth grade) received two of the highest awards for their recent rodeo art that was submitted at the 2020 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Student Art Contest. Reyli won a Best in Show and Taron won the Gold Medal award.
